This Privacy Policy applies to The Community by Dante (“Dante Amato”, “we”, “us”, “our”) and covers your use of our website www.danteamato.com.au (“Site”), our membership portal for The Community, and our social media channels.

We respect your privacy and handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs), and where applicable the EU GDPR.

This Privacy Policy forms part of our Website Terms & Conditions and Membership Terms.

2. Who this policy applies to

This Policy applies to visitors, subscribers, members, purchasers, and anyone interacting with our Site, The Community membership portal, workshops, live calls, private podcast, events, or emails.

3. Your consent

By using our Site, joining The Community, purchasing products/services, or interacting with us on our channels, you consent to this Policy. If you disagree, please do not use our Site or Services.

4. Minors

Our Services are intended for adults. By using our Site/Services, you warrant you are 18+ and have capacity to enter a binding contract.

5. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The “Effective Date” above shows the latest version. Continued use constitutes acceptance of changes.

6. Information we collect

We collect personal information you provide and some data automatically:

You provide:

Identification & contact: name, email, phone, address, country/region

Account & profile: login details, photo (optional), preferences

Purchase & billing: products/tier purchased, payment method (tokenised via third-party gateways), invoice details

Membership activity: workshop registrations, call attendance, questions submitted, community posts/messages (where applicable)

Communications: enquiries, DMs, support requests, feedback, testimonials, survey responses

Event details (if relevant): dietary/access needs for live events/retreats

Collected automatically:

Device/technical: IP address, browser type/version, OS, time zone, plug-ins

Usage: page views, session duration, clickstream, referring/exit pages, portal interactions

We do not store full card numbers. Payments are processed by secure PCI-DSS compliant providers (e.g., Stripe/PayPal) who tokenise your details.

7. How we use your information (lawful bases)

We use your information only for the purposes collected and related purposes:

Provide & operate Services: manage your membership, portal access, workshops, live calls, private podcast, resources, event logistics (APP 3; GDPR Art. 6(1)(b))

Customer support: respond to enquiries, troubleshoot access, service updates (APP 6; GDPR Art. 6(1)(b))

Account & billing: process payments, issue invoices, manage subscriptions (APP 6; GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)-(c))

Service improvement & security: analytics, performance, fraud prevention (APP 6; GDPR Art. 6(1)(f))

Marketing with consent: newsletters, launches, and offers you opt into (APP 7; GDPR Art. 6(1)(a))

Legal compliance: tax, record-keeping, regulatory requests (APP 6; GDPR Art. 6(1)(c))

8. Disclosures & third parties

We disclose data only as needed to deliver the Services, or where required by law:

Service providers: website host, membership portal/LMS, video platforms (e.g., Zoom), email & CRM (e.g., ActiveCampaign/Mailchimp), payment gateways (e.g., Stripe/PayPal), calendar/scheduling tools, survey tools, analytics (Google), social platforms (Meta/Instagram), storage providers, event/retreat vendors (dietary/access only), professional advisors, IT security/fraud prevention.

Legal/Regulatory: where required by law or to protect rights, safety, or security.

Within our business: staff/contractors on a need-to-know basis under confidentiality.

Testimonials/Member love: only with your permission or in an anonymised form.

We do not sell or rent your personal information.

9. International Transfers

Our providers may store/process data in Australia or overseas (e.g., US/EU). Where data is transferred internationally, we take reasonable steps to ensure recipients have appropriate safeguards (APP 8; GDPR Chapter V).

10. Sensitive information

We do not intentionally collect “sensitive information” (e.g., health, ethnicity, religious beliefs). If you voluntarily share sensitive details (e.g., during a coaching call or event intake), you consent to our handling for the stated purpose (e.g., accessibility/dietary needs). Please avoid sharing sensitive information you do not want recorded.

11. The Community spaces: confidentiality & conduct

The Community is a confidential, supportive environment. Please respect the privacy of other members. Do not record, scrape, or redistribute content from live calls, the portal, the private podcast, or community areas.

12. Digital products & private podcast

For downloads and the private podcast, we track access to ensure delivery, quality, and compliance with membership terms. Do not share links/feed credentials externally.

13. Cookies, pixels & tracking

We use cookies, pixels (e.g., Meta), and similar technologies to:

keep you logged in, remember preferences, improve performance

understand usage for analytics

show relevant content/ads (where consented)

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how our Site is used. You can learn how Google collects/uses data and opt out via browser add-ons.

Meta/Facebook tools

We’ll tell you before we collect data for marketing and obtain consent where required. You can unsubscribe anytime via the link in our emails or by contacting us.

password-protected accounts and least-privilege access reputable hosting/storage with industry-standard security PCI-DSS compliant payment processors (we do not store full card details)

No method is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

17. Data retention

We retain data only as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this Policy, to provide Services, and to meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements. When no longer required, we will delete or de-identify it.

18. User content, reviews & social media

If you submit reviews, comments, or social content, you warrant you own the content or have permission to share it and grant us a licence to use it per our Terms. We may remove content that breaches rights, laws, or community guidelines.

19. Third-party links

Our Site/portal may link to third-party sites. Their privacy practices are their own; review their policies before providing information.
